Global Wealth Manager London & Capital engaged GrowCreate to design a client portal that could function as a central communications hub, as well as giving investors an engaging and secure means of accessing their portfolio across devices. All businesses are technology companies to a degree, and Wealth Managers are keen to keep pace with the dizzying rate of innovation.

A particularly useful exercise was being able to meet a large number of clients at London & Capital’s annual Wealth Symposium. There was a significant presence of clients at the Symposium who have clearly made a wholehearted leap into managing their wealth via new technologies. Across age groups, investors were keen to learn about the new system – something which comes as no surprise to those aware of just how strong tablet take-up has been among the over-55s, for example.
The functionality delivered by London & Capital’s portal is both broad and deep. Naturally, it provides clients with an engaging, convenient and highly secure means of accessing portfolio information across devices. Beyond reporting, it functions as a communications hub between advisors, investors and the wider firm, incorporating a wide range of content and CRM components.
While most Wealth Managers wish to innovate with client-facing tools today, they will also have significant reliability, stability and compliance concerns that need to be completely allayed. GrowCreate met these exacting requirements on these fronts by integrating Microsoft technologies and the Azure Cloud with London & Capital’s existing technology.

After extensive security and integration testing, London & Capital is rolling out the portal to its 1,000-strong client base. Great benefits to both investors, advisors and the firm itself seem assured from the results of an initial pilot group release with 50 clients across business lines.
