Delivering an effective user experience
Hitachi Solutions are a leading Microsoft Partner delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 and associated technologies that reduce client costs, increase profits and improve customer engagement. The industries they serve include local government, housing, insurance, retail, and professional services. Their clients include Hiscox, Joseph Rowntree Foundation, and Dr. Martens: all share a need to harness new technology to improve customer service and efficiency.
Hitachi Solutions had acquired the German retail specialist Implexis which needed to be brought under the Hitachi Solutions branding as quickly as possible. Hitachi needed a partner agency that could improve the user experience and meet the requirements of their content editors and marketers.
Hitachi Solutions came to GrowCreate with four clear needs from their web project:
- Deliver an effective UX and design to demonstrate how their services can be applied to an industry or a client’s specific situation
- Deliver a localised content-managed solution across three countries, with the flexibility to add new languages as the company expanded into new regions
- Provide a flexible editor experience enabling the team to create bespoke web pages using components
- Improve productivity and efficiency for content editors and stakeholders
Hitachi needed a partner agency that could improve the user experience and meet the requirements of their content editors and marketers.
We worked with client representatives from the UK, Germany and France, led by Hitachi Solutions’ European Marketing Director.
GrowCreate worked with the Hitachi Solutions team to deliver an effective user experience and web design. We developed the website on the Episerver experience platform and integrated Microsoft Dynamics’ automated marketing tool, Click Dimensions.
New country domains were added to the web solution and Implexis branding was switched to Hitachi Solutions branding over one weekend to coincide with new office decor, stationery and full digital presence.
Improved branding and an optimised user experience helped Hitachi Solutions to reach a global rank of 15th out of 39,000 Microsoft partners for excellence in digital marketing.
